01 / WHAT I CAN HELP WITH

A little space goes a long way.

What’s in
your way?

That thing you’ve been meaning to get rid of.
The pile that keeps getting bigger.
Let’s make a plan for it.

FURNITURE

Big items.
Off your list.

That couch, old table or bulky item that’s been taking up space. Tell me where it is; I’ll plan the lifting and hauling.

HOME & GARAGE CLEANOUTS

Your space.
Back again.

A garage you’d like to park in again, a crowded storage area, or a room that needs a fresh start.

YARD DEBRIS

The pile can go.
The yard stays.

Already-cut branches, brush and piles of yard debris. I’ll review the amount and access before planning the haul.

PROPERTY CLEANUP

A little cleanup.
A big difference.

Loose, nonhazardous debris or another cleanup project. Show me what’s there and we’ll talk through what it needs.

MORE WAYS TO MAKE ROOM

And more.

Something to haul, a move to plan, or an old car you want gone. Let’s talk through it.

Hauling

Need furniture, materials or other nonhazardous items hauled somewhere? Tell me what it is and where it needs to go. I’ll check the load, access and drop-off details before quoting.

Ask about hauling

Moving

Moving belongings to another home? Send an item list, photos, the pickup and drop-off cities, and any stairs. I’ll account for the crew and equipment before confirming the job.

Junk-car removal

Have an old car you want removed? Tell me the year, make and model, whether it rolls, and where it’s parked. I’ll review loading access and ownership paperwork before confirming pickup.

Something else? Tell me about it.

Tree cutting, demolition and unusual materials need a separate review.

You won’t be expected to help load.

You point it out.
I’ll take it from there.

We’ll agree on the details and price
before anything gets scheduled.

A plan before a pickup.

Alta clears it.

Once we agree on the job, Alta handles the lifting, loading and hauling. You won’t be expected to help.

One less thing on your list.

03 / THE PERSON BEHIND ALTA

JAVIER MACIAS-ORTEGA · FOUNDER

I grew up
around
this work.

Let’s talk about your project

I’ve been around construction since elementary school, helping my dad with his work and hauling things.

I learned to handle a trailer early on, and clearing out clutter is something I’ve grown up doing. I know getting rid of a big item or cleaning up around the house can be inconvenient. Sometimes there’s no time, no way to haul it, or it’s too much to move yourself. I started Alta to make that part easier.

I’ve always wanted to build a business of my own. Now, at 18, I’m putting what I’ve learned into Alta. I have big goals for it, and I’m excited to be getting started.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Good questions.

How much will it cost?

It depends on what you need removed, how much there is, its weight, access and disposal costs. Send me a description and photos if you can. If I need to see the job in person before giving you a firm price, I’ll tell you.

Do I have to move everything outside?

No—you won’t need to carry items outside or help load them. Tell me where they are and about any stairs, narrow doorways or disassembly. I’ll account for those details when planning the crew and equipment.

How many people will the job need?

I’ll assess the size and weight of the items, stairs, access and any disassembly to determine how many people are needed. I’ll account for the crew and equipment in the quote before scheduling. You won’t be expected to lift, carry or load anything.

What areas do you serve?

Alta is based in the Salt Lake area. Include your job’s city when you reach out so I can confirm availability and travel details before we set a date.

What about trees, demolition or unusual materials?

Tree cutting, stump work and demolition need a separate review. Also tell me about paint, chemicals, fuel, batteries, unknown containers or suspected asbestos. Hazardous materials aren’t part of a standard pickup, and some appliances or heavy debris need a separate disposal plan.

A few photos, your city and a little about the job are a good place to start. I’ll look it over and get back to you.
